On my walk this morning I was picking blackberries and I thought this is a bit like business, a bit like getting customers:

BlackberriesSome of the blackberries were ripe, some were not – some people are ready to buy, some are not.

If you nurture them they will become ripe – some people need longer to know, like and trust you.

If you leave them for ages and just come back expecting them to be ready, someone else will have picked them! – if you don’t stay in touch and help people to get to know, like and trust you, someone else will!

Catherine WatkinThe person who taught me the most about getting new customers easily, without using old-style sales techniques is Catherine Watkin, and I wanted to let you know that she is doing a couple of free trainings next week. Of all the programmes I’ve been on (and I’ve been on loads) Catherine always includes the most relevant and easy to follow content, and she rarely does these free trainings. If you’d like to get more customers easily, she’s your woman.
